Spring has arrived in Kansas City...

Last Wednesday evening...with mostly clear skies and a nearly full moon rising in the evening, I captured some great images of the Kansas City skyline from Kaw Point (spot where the Kansas River flows into the Missouri River):

First entry, photos of the Plaza Lights...

Just thought I'd start up a new blog, devoted entirely to my photography.
My first two photos were taken this Monday evening at the Country Club Plaza.
The first photo is a closeup of the top of the Giralda Tower, with a slight sliver of the moon off in the distance...



The second photo was a decent result of some experimentation. This was a 15 second long exposure shot, showing all the traffic activity at the intersection of Cleaver II Blvd and JC Nichols Parkway...while I stood "perfectly" still...
